Returns & Cancellation Policies

  • Parts may be returned to Green Farm Parts up to 45 days from the date of delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping return charges unless Green Farm Parts shipped a part different than what was ordered.
  • Once the return has been processed we will issue the appropriate credit to your method of payment.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable unless we ship a part that was not ordered (incorrect part).
  • If a part is under warranty and has failed, we can replace it for you at no charge.  Customers will need to contact Green Farm Parts to request a warranty part.  Returning the defective part to Green Farm Parts is required and the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.  John Deere does not pay for shipping charges for warranty parts.
  • Cancellations: In some instances in stock orders can be cancelled before they have been processed and shipped. All special order and non in stock parts cannot be cancelled once they have been processed and ordered from the supplier without a 20% restock fee being applied. Special order parts can be cancelled if they have not been processed and ordered. All special order and non in stock items are processed at the end of each business day.  
  • All items MUST be in the original John Deere packaging with the John Deere Part number label intact, as shown below. Items not in original packaging will not receive any credit.

    

Non-Returnable Parts

  • The following parts may not be returned.  You will NOT receive credit for these parts!
  • Electrical Components – including but not limited to starters, switches, wiring harnesses, ECU, lights, bulbs, circuit boards, capacitors, diodes, radios, key switches, etc.    DO NOT RETURN ELECTRICAL ITEMS!  If the part is made to have electrical current pass through it, it is NOT returnable!
  • Manuals & Publications: Operator, Technical/Repair, Service, Parts, etc. in print or CD version
  • Hardware: Including, but not limited to nuts, bolts, screws, caps, springs, washers, connectors, O-rings, snap rings, seals, pins, etc.
  • Consumable Products: Oil, grease, paint, cleaners, talc, graphite, or any liquid products
  • Powertrain: Engines, transmissions, cylinder heads, short blocks
  • Vendor parts:  Parts listed as vendor products are not returnable
  • Toys:  Toys that have been removed from the original packaging or altered
  • Any item not in the original John Deere Packaging or missing the John Deere Bar Code (see example above)
  • Any parts or accessories that have been installed on equipment or modified
  • If any of these items are returned, they will not receive credit and we cannot ship them back to you unless you pay for shipping
  • Hydraulic Hoses and Oil Lines (Most hydraulic hoses and oil lines are made to order and are non-returnable to the manufacturer) 

Restock Fees

  • All eligible parts returned within 45 days of delivery date: 20% restock fee
  • Parts that are over 45 days old may not be returned.
  • Non-deliverable package due to incorrect address provided by customer: 20% restock fee
  • Cancelled orders: 20% restock fee
  • Any packages refused by customer and returned to Green Farm Parts will be charged the return shipping in addition to the applicable restock fee.

Exchanges

Green Farm Parts does not currently offer or process parts exchanges. Each order must be separate for accounting and tracking purposes. If you need a different part, please place a separate order and file a return on the original order.

Damages & Shortages

All damages or shortages must be reported within 14 days of receipt of package(s) for claim to be filed.

Credits

  • Credits for returns are typically processed within 2 -5 business days of the package being received at our store.
  • Paypal credits/refunds generally appear on your Paypal account instantly once the refund has been processed.
  • Refunds to credit/debit cards usually take 24 hours but can take additional days, depending on your card company’s policies.
  • Refunds for purchases paid with wire transfer will be via store credit. 

Processing Orders

Once an order has been submitted there is no way amend it.  This is for your payment protection.  We are able to help you with an additional order but there is no way for us to add to an order that is processing. 

Creating a Return

 

****PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE RETURN IS NOT IDENTIFIED AS LISTED BELOW THE PARTS WILL BE DISCARDED AND THERE WILL BE NO CREDIT ISSUED****

To create a return, include the following information on a sheet of paper in your return package:

•Name on order, Address, Daytime Phone Number, Email Address

•Order number (i.e. GFP-123456)

•Part Number(s) and Quantity
